My Experience
I started my hike on the Slovenian mountain route to Kranjska Koča na Ledinah. The trail surprised me because it was much more exposed than I expected.
It took me more than one hour to reach the mountain hut, and during this section I encountered many exposed parts, steep terrain, and several sections protected by steel cables. Because of the character of the route, careful walking and concentration were necessary throughout the hike.
Proper mountain equipment is highly recommended for this trail. A helmet is strongly recommended because of the rocky and exposed terrain, and a safety set for attaching to the steel cables can be useful, especially for hikers who are not experienced with exposed mountain paths.

After reaching Kranjska Koča na Ledinah, I continued my way down towards Jezersko. This part also took me more than one hour and included some exposed sections, although it was less demanding compared to the previous part of the route.
I have to admit that this hike surprised me. I personally do not enjoy routes with many exposed sections, so I was very happy and relieved when I safely reached the valley. It was a challenging mountain experience that showed the importance of preparation, suitable equipment, and respecting your own limits.
