Orglice Waterfall Slovenia
Slap Orglice is a beautiful waterfall in the Kamniško-Savinjske Alps near Kamnik, Slovenia. Located at 870 metres above sea level, it can be reached by an easy hike from Pred Belo. The route takes around 50 minutes and leads through the peaceful forests of the Kamniška Bistrica valley.
Predoselj Gorge is also nearby, about a 20-minute walk along the road. From there, you can continue towards the source of the Kamniška Bistrica River, with several interesting natural sights to explore along the way.
Most of the route is easy, although the final section becomes steeper and more difficult to access. With enough water flowing over the rocks, Slap Orglice is particularly impressive and makes a rewarding destination for a short hike.
Hiking Experience
I started the hike from the parking area at Pred Belo and followed the trail towards Presedljaj, Korošica and Konja. The first part of the route was easy and followed a wide forest track through the valley.
After around 30–40 minutes of walking, I reached the turn towards Slap Orglice. From this point, the trail is no longer marked and continues through the forest towards the waterfall.
The final part of the trail becomes steeper and more difficult to access. The terrain directly below the waterfall is not as easy as the first part of the route, so some caution is needed, especially when the ground is wet or slippery.
Reaching Slap Orglice was worth the effort. The waterfall is surrounded by beautiful forest and rocky terrain, creating a peaceful natural setting.
